BUILT™ for Speed – Preseason Football Training Camp

“Compete in Coach Gray’s 14th preseason camp: building the most resilient, powerful, and hardened bodies and minds.”

 

Who: Incoming 9th Grade – 12th Graders (Must be enrolled @ Nazareth + Participant in Nazareth Football Camp – Registered for 2024 season)

  • Testing Data will be stored and used for in-season maintenance during 2024 campaign.

Overview

 

  • Camp will be divided into Teams (A) & (B) on Day (1) – teams will complete 40:00 of field work + 40:00 in weight room daily + 15:00 Sport-Based Conditioning

  • Members of each team, will be assigned a Group of “4” – to complete weight room training with (based on age, ability, position, skill)

  • Weeks #1 & #6, athletes will test: (10yd Dash + 40yds Dash + 5-10-5 + Max Power Clean Cluster + Max Squat + Max Relative + Max Alactic Concentric)

  • Each Group: will receive a fully equipped power rack + position-based power/strength training program + coach led speed + task-based intensive conditioning.

Goals:

  • Increase Max Force Production + Mutate Fiber for muscle endurance demands of sport + alactic/lactic outputs.

  • Improve acceleration + optimize drive phase timing & propulsion.

  • Increase buffering capacity – for prolonged threshold.

  • Progressive overload multi-plane + vector movement + speed strength lifts

                10:00 Carb Reload + Hydrate.

                15:00 Compete: Intensive + Sport-Based Conditioning
